The impact of service quality on students' satisfaction and happiness (2021), University Grant

In an era characterized by rapid societal transformation and increasing complexity, the field of education stands at a pivotal juncture. Social science education, which encompasses the study of societies, behaviors, and interactions, is critical in equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate and contribute to an ever-evolving world. As the global landscape shifts, the importance of understanding and improving social science education becomes ever more pronounced.

This research seeks to address this gap by exploring service quality from an educational perspective.  By examining student perspectives, this study aims to contribute to a more nuanced understanding of how service quality can be optimized to meet contemporary needs. The significance of this research is underscored by the increasing demand for educational systems that foster critical thinking, stakeholder's responsibility, and a nuanced understanding of social dynamics. As educational policies and practices evolve, it is essential to ground these changes in robust, evidence-based research that can inform best practices and drive meaningful improvements.

In addressing these challenges, this study will provide valuable insights that can guide educators, policymakers, and stakeholders in enhancing the quality and impact of service quality in  higher educational institutions in Malaysia.  Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that students are not only knowledgeable about the world around them but are also equipped to actively engage with and contribute to shaping a more equitable and informed society. We believe successful industry research requires managing a portfolio of projects with time horizons, levels of risk and goals appropriate for the organization. Our approach to research has always been flexible, but there are two reasons that our research philosophy today adds more fundamental, or "pure basic," research than it has previously. The research team at UUM Leads comprises:
